Bouquet in the Wild

This is shot from Dog Mountain, one of the more difficult trails in the Hood River area. Not many flowers manage to survive on this trail in such a clean condition simply due to the fact that there is a very strong wind; Dog Mountain is quite tall, despite the fact that it is only a 3 mile trail.

It seems that this flower got lucky and found a spot where there wasn't a significant amount of wind and flourished into a strong cluster instead of the singletons which are far more prominent on the trail.
