This photo was taken from the Oregon Botanical Gardens in Silverton, OR. Originally I was trying to get a picture of the sunflower. I quickly realized that the sunflower wasn't going to become clear anytime soon, and considering it was nearly 100 °F that day, I had no intention of waiting an hour or two for the shot. However, things seemed to work out after I made the decision to change focus to the bees.
I wish I could have gotten closer to improve the quality a bit, but I think the quality is decent considering all I had was the 24-70mm lens I'm currently working with. I tried not to consider the things that might happen if I got too close with the camera and made them a little angry.
