I found this shot on my first trip to Hawaii in the rainforest. There were many beautiful flowers there, but this image striked me the most. I'm not quite sure why I liked this so much better than my pictures of the flowers; it's just a feeling. Believe it or not, this is a multiple exposure. I used two different shots to not only make it look like more water was flowing but also to make more of a sparkle in the main pool of water.
Minor touchups were made; again the scanner did a horrible job controlling the contrast so I fixed that. No spots were removed; this picture was amazing on its own. Minolta Maxxum 5 SLR at 40mm f/8 at 1/125 second (-1.0 stops) Double exposure makes ±0 stops. |
